FREE Day-in-the-Life Photo Session
Model Call details
Seeking families for a personal project depicting family life outside of the "traditional" neighborhood construct.
Selected families will be subjects of a Day-in-the-Life photo session, in which the photographer spends a half or full day with the family and chronicles daily life as it happens. These sessions are not posed or directed in any way.
Families must meet the following criteria to be considered:
- living non-traditionally / off-the-grid (in a tiny home, on a boat, in an RV, on a working farm, in a multi-family situation), etc
- have at least one child in the household between 0 and 16 years of age
- live within 50 miles of Austin, Texas or Washington, DC (extended radius may be possible)
- be willing to sign a full model release
Participants will be chosen based on the answers below, and a follow-up phone interview. In exchange for their participation and model release, families will receive a downloadable custom slideshow set to music, as well as five full-size digital negatives of their choosing. Additional files, prints, or photo books available for purchase if desired. Total value of this package is $1475 for a full Day-in-the-Life or $1325 for a half Day-in-the-Life.
