GREEN SPROUT 2019
Welcome, parents of Green Sprout students! You've landed in the right place. All proofing and ordering are handled online through our secure ordering site. You may find the FAQs here useful to read before placing your order - they really are quite enlightening!
The deadline to place your order is THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 21.
If you’re hoping for prints for holiday gifts, I urge you to select digital files in lieu of — or in addition to — prints. Because I’m a small one-woman operation, I CANNOT GUARANTEE that prints will be ready by mid December (though I’m very hopeful). But I’m happy to recommend my favorite printing spots (both local and online) to families who select digital files.
Scroll down and click on the gallery of your choice. You will be immediately redirected to the correct private, password-protected gallery. (NOTE: in case you've forgotten, the password for the student & composite galleries is: tacocat)
**Remember to check out individual AND class composite photos!**

*IMPORTANT NOTE: These images are captured in a very short time period with your child. Due to the school schedule, I have just 1-2 minutes with each student. I do my best to capture a variety of expressions and conjure authenticity from your son or daughter during this time. Some children are naturally more comfortable than others when it comes to photographs. I do not believe in asking a child to "perform" just for the sake of capturing the expected image. Rather, I do my best to engage with each child, make them comfortable, and help them enjoy our brief time together. All photos are made with the goal of being "real" -- who they are in that moment. I hope you enjoy these images of your gorgeous babies!
I’m one of those people who believes that the objects with which we surround ourselves not only reflect who we are and the values we hold dear, but that they also deeply affect our daily experience. They embolden and reinforce our sense of self-identity.
Our family identity is woven into the photos we’ve chosen, too.
Have you heard the story about how kids seeing photos of themselves boosts their self confidence? It’s based on a 1970s Tulane University study of fourth graders, asked to work with photographs of themselves daily for a period of time. The study determined that children who routinely look at photographs of themselves exhibit a 37 percent boost in self-esteem. Pretty amazing, right?
